When you arrive, she gladly takes the money, until John informs her that he killed her child’s father. Even though the guy was a bonafide butt plug, the woman is still upset that her child’s father has been gunned down. A few days later, John finds her mourning at his grave, inconsolable. That’s what you get for getting in the middle of someone else’s family issues, John; nothing is solved and no one is ha

Let's be honest, life can be pretty boring at times. In fact, more often than not, what you do in a given week is lame. Sure, there are highlights and moments in everyone's life that you think back on frequently but most of the time, what you do in a day isn't exciting. Think about it: every morning you surely wake up, take a shower, go to work, eat some food, come home and go to bed.

This item is next to perfect when you're laning or caught in the middle of team fights through the course of the game. For instance, it gives you a substantial amount of health at +400 points and +300 points in m

What's worth noting though is that I don't think what Rockstar has done with these ideas is really all that revolutionary by any means. No: instead, they've just leaned into these things that other developers would certainly stray away from for the reasons that I've already heard many complain about this weekend -- it ends up being too slow and too boring. However, Rockstar knew before release that Red Dead Redemption 2 would sell millions of copies no matter what they did. This notion allowed them far more experimentation and more willingness to take chances compared to what other studios might attempt. For the most part, I think it's an experiment that has worked to Red Dead Redemption 2 's benefit so far.

Now, reading the title of this entry, you might not think that getting flowers for a dead woman is revolting per se; leaving flowers on graves and memorials is a common and loving thing to do. But, John quickly finds out that the man’s wife isn’t dead and buried — she’s just dead. And sitting in a rocking chair in the corner of the god damn kitchen. While this could be seen as a testament to the man’s unyielding love for his wife, I believe it falls into the realm of frontier madness. And even if it is all in the name of love, it is still revolting to have a rotting corpse propped up in your ho

Now, while I enjoy that Red Dead Redemption 2 has built in so many things that force you to slow down, I think it's important to note that this probably isn't something I would want to see from every video game in existence. Trust me, I enjoy how streamlined most other games are now as much as the next guy. But in Red Dead Redemption 2 , I think I've started to see early on in my playthrough the larger purpose that Rockstar has with all of these added elements to the game.

The same can be said for Arthur Morgan. Are there moments of intense excitement in his life such as when he's robbing a train or watching the sunset over the plains? Absolutely. But even in the life of an outlaw on the run, you still have to make small decisions about whether or not you should take a bath or shave your face.

Unsurprisingly, _ Red Dead Redemption 2 _ will feature an online multiplayer component. Not much is known about the online mode, other than a few leaked modes potentially at play, including Battle Royale, Revive and Survive, and Money Grabs. Online retail product descriptions for the game indicate that "the game's vast and atmospheric [https://WWW.Openworldpilot.com/ Open world games exploration] will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience." But let’s be honest. Just because a game has an online multiplayer experience, it doesn’t mean it is good. For instance, fan-favorite, iconic franchise _ Metal Gear Solid _ has dabbled in the realm of online multiplayer, but to no avail. An oversaturated market also makes it difficult for great single-player games to stand out as decent online multiplayer games. Obviously, Rockstar found the golden ticket with _ GTA Online _ , but can that success realistically be repeated with a 1900s-era western g

First and foremost, let’s take a look at Rockstar Games’ track record with single-player titles. Rockstar has not delivered a new title since 2013’s _ Grand Theft Auto V _ , which is ultimately a reflection of the success of _ Grand Theft Auto Online _ . In fact, Rockstar has only released two other games since the original _ Red Dead Redemption _ and _ Undead Nightmare _ expansion in 2010: _ L.A. Noire _ and _ Max Payne 3 _ . Hopefully, the _ Red Dead Redemption 2 _ team at Rockstar was fully-devoted to the title and the wait will be worth it, but a five-year hiatus from releasing any single-player title is enough to make us a bit w

North West of El Matadero, John will come across a man who is essentially a slave. He longs to return to his love, and his owner agrees to let the man go if John brings him a stallion. Break a wild stallion in and deliver it to the owner and the man is freed. He thanks John, vowing that he is returning to his love and starting his life a
