For those that didn't see the ARK 2 trailer at The Game Awards, it is looking to be a more story oriented game. Vin Diesel leads his tribe through a pre-historic jungle before they are attacked by what seems to be a rival tribe. While fighting them off, and unexpected guest shows up and makes things more complicated. In the ensuing chase scene, Vin Diesel and a young child run past several other types of dinosaurs, all of which can be assumed to be in the final game. Naturally, anything could change between now and teh game's release so technically nothing is confirmed, but it's a safe bet that these dinos will make the

Now, with that said, one would think this review is going to continue down this path and Fable II will once again fail to reach the pinnacle that was expected of it. With such flaws as a poor map, an unbalanced economy, and a relatively dull plot, how could a game recover? It is quite simple, really. Like its incredibly detailed morality system, the developers seemed to be presented with a choice. They could either give it an epic story with incredibly detailed and fleshed-out characters or sacrifice a large amount of your gaming freedom, or they could give you an engrossing game with limitless options but sacrifice a fanciful plot. They chose the latter and, like your character, whether that is a good or a bad thing is essentially up to you.

I always love trying games that are innovative, weird, and unorthodox and Erica was able to check all of those boxes. For that reason, it's still on my mind at the end of 2019 despite a couple of problems. If you're done with Telling Lies and are looking for another intriguing FMV game, Erica should be on your radar. The game, not the person. That'd be quite cre

The star of the show is clearly the world of Albion. From a purely aesthetic standpoint, you can see how easy it is to be drawn in. Slightly cartoony visuals make the world so charming you will want to explore every area for fear of missing the smallest detail. It is easy to take the most menial task and turn it into hours of exploration and enjoyment, which also adds to the feeling that your options are limitless. Need to find an item? Why not take some time and search that forest for hidden treasure first. Need some side money? Well, Albion offers plenty of options to make it, from taking a real 9-5 job, becoming a store owner or slum lord, or even looting houses. Depending on your character type and play style, you can find something to do at any time without even delving into a single quest.

While creating a sprawling [https://Adventurequestlog.com/ adventure game beginner guide|https://adventurequestlog.com/] controlled only by body movements may seem impossible, the world has been carefully sculpted around the concept. Nearly the entire game is on-rails, with player-controlled progress limited to traveling via horse and carriage. Movement of Seren is controlled by grabbing onto the reins. Once holding on, jerking both hands up in a cracking motion makes the horse go faster, while pulling your hands up towards your body stops her. To move left or right, you pull the hand of the intended direction towards you while extending the opposite arm. Intensity is based on how fast and dramatic the gestures are. Instead of simply darting to the next area, however, players must pay attention to not run into obstacles while scoping out any side-areas, where treasure chests or revealing NPCs can be found.

I'm not much of a creator, but I've had a ton of fun seeing what everyone's made in Super Mario Maker 2. Whether I'm rating levels for StephenPlays' Morning Mario, getting random grab bags of levels in multiplayer or endless mode, or just browsing for myself, I am always surprised by the masterpieces and monstrosities that people can come up with if you give them the right to

Capping off a great year for Respawn Entertainment, this game finally provided the engaging single-player focused Star Wars experience that players have been yearning for ever since EA and Disney struck their Star Wars game deal all those years ago. In fact, the only reason this game isn't higher on this list is that I haven't beaten it yet, and I'm sure my love for it will only grow as I play it m

Thanks to its hefty post-launch support and just being a damn good game in general, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is one of my most played Nintendo Switch games of the year and has managed to make my top 10 once again. Even though it didn't work last time, I will say it again: now just add Geno, Sakurai, and we'll talk about Super Smash Bros. Ultimate making it onto my 2020 GOTY list as w

Besides combat and travel, there are plenty of other motion-based opportunities throughout Albion. Activities like corralling chickens, lighting lanterns and moving obstacles may seem mundane, but serve to enrich the experience, making sure there’s always a fresh task to keep players interested. Most of these secondary actions have their own unique movements to avoid redundancies. Not content to let your arms have all the fun, there will be times where multiple paths can be selected from by bending your torso left or right. With all the different movements, it’s clear Lionhead was content on utilizing the full potential of motion-control.
