"You’ve heard us talk about open development a few times, but what does that really mean? For Codename: Savage it means we’re going to be building the map as you guys play it. We have months of work left to do; beyond refining the experience and making changes that impact balance, we also plan to add new vehicles, new weapons, and most exciting in our eyes are the new areas that we think will set this map apart from our first t

Despite encountering a multitude of difficulties, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has managed to continually change and grow in the months since it exploded onto the gaming scene early last year. Just last weekend the game's developers implemented a new War mode that pitted three squads of ten players against each other. This new mode only lasted for the weekend, but PUBG Corp appears to have several other additions in the works that will help keep the game's community energi

Content is king, so it should be no surprise that planned additions to the game were the most prominent part of the PUBG roadmap. First up is a brand new 4x4 kilometer map, a quarter of the size of Erangel and Miramar, designed for faster, action-packed rounds. This small map will come to a new Experimental Test Server in April, but a second, standard-sized 8x8 map is also in development for a 2018 release, but is not yet ready to be sh

News comes from the PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds development blog , where the studio was hoping to clear the air and create a prioritization list for the community. The most notable change in the works is a brand new island map that is set to be only 4x4km -- likely the biggest play towards the Fortnite audience. This new map will be available on PUBG 's experimental test server starting next mo

Other occasional tweaks being worked on throughout the year is an improvement in sound design, a focus on creating eSport tools, and implementation and expansion of Custom Games that will come later through the y

Not all content will be entirely new; much of what's planned for 2018 will be reworked content currently in the game, some of which has been long-requested by the PUBG player base. Of special interest are reworked parachuting and unarmed melee combat systems, both of which have been heavily criticized. Even larger is an overhaul of the entire Third Person and First Person mode animation system to increase smoothness and reactiveness, including new animations for switching car seats or entering a vehi

There's more than just two new 2018 maps in the works, though. PUBG Corp. is working on an all-new emote feature, replete with an emote wheel so players can bow, wave, dance, and taunt as necessary mid-game. New vehicles and weapons are in-development, including the FN FAL. And customization options will continue to be added throughout the year, including skins for parachutes and weap

This smaller map is apparently an effort by developers to make PUBG faster paced. The game's attempt at world domination stepped up a notch recently with the release of PUBG Mobile for iOS and Android. While the graphical quality and controls obviously took something of a hit, the game runs surprisingly well on mobile and drawn yet more players into PlayerUnknown's Battleground web. The game also proved to be a big hit on Xbox One despite numerous gameplay issues and player complai

The map selector is about to become more essential than ever since PUBG's third map, Codename: Savage , has already become playable on the new test client on Steam. We tried it out when it first released and while we enjoy the idea of a faster-paced option on a map that's one-quarter the sized of the other two, the mid-game is still slow and the map looked incredibly ugly and unfinished. PUBG Corp rushed it out to get early feedback and to have something to show for themselves other than weapon skin loot bo

Apart from that, the developer is planning on adding new Game Modes, new vehicles, and new weapons to bring some added variety. Additionally, for a UI update they hope to add in Achievements, in-game friends list, and main menu voice chat supp

If it wasn't for Fortnite coming in and stealing the spotlight from PUBG , we'd be stuck with a poorly optimized, gambling-focused battle royale game. Thankfully, Fortnite is here, forcing PUBG Corp and publisher/original developer Bluehole to take some action (and ideas). Over the last two months PUBG has added weekly events which players have fallen in love with, so much so there's a lot of demand to see some of these test modes become permanent. These events include shotgun-only modes to large team deathmatches and there's more on the

Finally, PUBG Corp. dedicated itself to a routine schedule for major patches in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds . From here on, major patches are planned to be released on a 2-month schedule, with the first such patch planned for March. Smaller patches and hotfixes will continue to be released as needed, especially as the Experimental Test Server grows in

[https://Resumesarea.com/ Https://Resumesarea.com/]
