The only remaining use for Hunters has been to inflict slow through their Revenant Super, activating an Artifact mod called Focusing Lens that stacks with other buffs. Sadly, Bungie removed this interaction with the 30th Anniversary Pack. That patch also nerfed both Hunter dodges in hopes of making the class ability less potent in the Crucible. While that was certainly achieved, it also nerfed Hunters in PvE. Specs like Bottom Tree Nightstalker were tuned around frequently dodging and using your melee, something you can't do as frequently now unless you run The Sixth Coyote or Omnioculus. And if you're a player that loved using Dragon's Shadow or Wormhusk Crown, you can forget about using Gambler's Dodge.

Grab an Engram from the Vandal, then use the gravity lift nearby to reach the central Fallen base once again. Climb up the central building—the one that typically houses a Scorch Cannon Vandal—to find the chest. Grabbing all three chests will grant the Exotic Catalyst for Gjallarh

The Artifact was and still is a great idea. It gives Bungie an avenue to increase player power without worrying about the ramifications of power creep since these effects are temporary. However, only three seasons have lacked a debuff mod since Shadowkeep was released—Dawn, Worthy, and Hunt. More seasons have had debuff mods than not, resulting in many players expecting mods like Particle Deconstruction with each season. And since we live in a world where Stasis exists, the Nighstalker's Shadowshot Super has lost all value. None of this would be a real issue if debuffs could stack, but that was removed during Shadowkeep as well.

Daring Displays requires that you complete 15 Starhorse bounties. The Starhorse is a vendor in Xur's Treasure Hoard that gives out bounties and reward exchanges. Starhorse will have six bounties available at any given moment, three of which are weekly. The sixth bounty from Starhorse is tied to the Legend variant of Dares of Eternity. The three weekly bounties count as multiple bounties, and the weekly Legend bounty counts for even m

That’s one hell of a laundry list. Even if a newer player somehow has all of that , you’re going to need armor with enough upgrades to fit all of those mandatory mods. Unless you can Masterwork your armor—the reason you’d be running Master Nightfalls in the first place—you’ll also be limiting which weapons you can use since these Orb-generating mods only work for certain damage types. Unfortunately, that might not be the worst part of this change.

At the power cap, you can only increase your power level by participating in pinnacle activities. These are typically more challenging and sometimes require teams of three to six players. If you’re very lucky, the climb from soft cap to hard cap can be done in a few weeks. If you manage to get a lot of repeated drops though, it could take more than a month.

The Grasp of Avarice dungeon has 12 hidden messages from Wilhelm-7 that players can find. All of them are messages in a bottle that can be found in between each encounter. We'll have all of these collectibles added to our Grasp of Avarice guide at some point in the future. Until then, YouTuber Esoterickk has a video guide that showcases where to find all 12 of t

Forerunner is Destiny's take on the Halo: Combat Evolved Magnum. It's a devastating Sidearm and arguably one of the best Kinetic weapons in the game. You can start this quest by grabbing the "Magnum Opus" quest from Xur at this Treasure Hoard. For more information on obtaining Forerunner and its Exotic Catalyst, check out our Forerunner gui

Helmets are about to suffer the same fate as arms, arguably worse. While most arm mods give minor buffs in PvE, helmet mods include ammo finders that bypass Destiny 2 Guide’s otherwise random ammo economy. Most players run two ammo finders in PvE, but now they’ll be forced to use one if they want to take advantage of Charged with Light or other Orb mods. Crucible players will need to forgo targeting mods altogether if they want their Primary and Special weapons to spawn Orbs.

Since the start of Shadowkeep two years ago, the best way to grind is by completing bounties on the Moon. Here you can spend countless hours running through the same Lost Sectors and Public Events over and over to make minor progress towards your next Artifact Power level. You’ll reach the minimum requirement of 1345 once you hit level 150 on the battle pass, but you’ll have little chance of actually completing a Grandmaster Nightfall at that level. If you really want to participate in Destiny 2’s endgame activity, you’ll need to reach at least level 250, and the only way to get there is to grind it out.

Bungie has made it clear that they want buildcrafting to be the next pillar of Destiny’s core design. It’s why armor mods have become more and more important, and it's why the Light subclasses are getting reworked this year . On a fundamental level, I agree with Bungie’s vision. I’d love to play a version of Destiny where every player you meet has a unique build that kicks alien ass in its own way. But with the current state of armor mods, those builds are locked behind layers of RNG and hundreds of hours of grinding. To realize a version of Destiny where every Guardian is truly their own legend, it’s time we reduce mod bloat, not make it worse.
