Other than the select few gangs involved in main and side storylines, Cyberpunk's gangs make no se
Some video games have much better hair customization than others. The best hair customization includes many choices colors, highlights, lengths, curls, and styles. One particular factor many game character customizations lack is hair options for BIPOC characters. Some games, however, step up to the plate and deliver diversity in their hair opti
I’m sitting far enough back that I’m out of the crowd. Watching. Watching the line of people and vehicles as they wait at the border. Watching the Tower Group guards as they give the go-ahead to some to pass through the gate, forcing others – often physically – out of line and sending them wearily back to the bordertown; the badlands. They were probably mutants. Tower guards hate mutants. On the other side of the gate lies Cincinnati, now one of the only places in North America that’s hospitable enough to act as a major city – at least, as far as I’m aware right now. I’ve seen planes flying in and out of the city. There has to be somewhere else, ri
Night City. A place that's both hated and loved. It is loved by those who see it as a place to thrive, like corrupt businessmen, opportunistic mercenaries, and tough gangsters . It is hated for almost the exact same reason. Many consider it a place of scum and villainy, and it's easy to see why this is the case. The rift between the rich and poor is massive, with the former exploiting their power to maintain their influence at the cost of the latter. In retaliation, those below the poverty line turn to a life of crime in the hopes of making it big and earning a lot of c
Then, out of nowhere, a truck explodes. Bullets begin to whiz past me. On one side of me, a group of bordertown rebels are attacking the guards, not caring if any innocent civilians get caught between their crosshairs. On the other side, the Tower guards at the gate respond by unleashing hell with their automatic rifles and tower turrets. I’m caught in the crossfire and I need to move. As I start, though, I hear the screams of the child that’s trapped in the cabin of the exploded truck. She’s somehow still alive – her mother, the driver of the truck, not so lucky. I could easily start running the opposite direction, away from the chaos. Instead, I take a chance and sprint towards the truck in an attempt to save the child while staying alive myself – a dice roll with odds that aren’t exactly in my fa
If players don’t bother getting the keys, or they simply don’t look for the shipping container, then they are going to miss out on one of the best and sleekest vehicles in the game, and Johnny won’t be too happy about the fact that players left behind his baby, especially since the shipping container housing the Porsche 911 (930) Turbo is found right next to the starboard of the ship when players activate a button in this a
Padre, aka Sebastian Ibarra, and Dakota Smith are also fixers with conflicts of interest. Padre is a priest in Heywood and supposed head of the Valentinos, but like Wakako, he sends V on tasks to steal from or kill members of the Valentinos. While this would justify why the Valentinos are violent towards V, it also conflicts with the idea that the Valentinos should have V’s back, since Jackie was a part of the gang. Dakota Smith, on the other hand, seems to give V gigs that put her up against the Aldecaldos' rival nomad gang, the Wraiths. While Dakota’s database information says she's part of the Northern Californian Pomo tribe, she is seen accompanying the Aldecaldos if players decide to get their help to storm Aras
This hasn't been confirmed in-game, but the sudden drop-off in population certainly supports this theory. Night City is full of such details, and players can learn about this tumultuous period in the series' history if they check out one of the many news broadcasts detailing out this st
Despite being categorized as a gang in Westbrook, The Mox mainly operate at Lizzie’s Bar in Watson (where potential romance Judy Alvarez works), which is the home turf of Maelstrom. The Mox might as well be a gang solely in name, since it doesn't behave like any other gang in Night City. It won’t help V and Judy in the annexation of Clouds from the Tyger Claws, and the Claws don’t seem to have any business with The Mox and Lizzie’s Bar. The Mox claim to help Joytoys and Dolls, but there isn't much action in-game, if any. Cyberpunk 2077 might claim The Mox and Tyger Claws are rival gangs, but they seem far from
Whilst Silverhand’s arm does not offer any additional Cyberware benefits, it was a great visual addition to the game and one that has been mysteriously missing after Patch 1.3. It’s not confirmed why this was removed, but it is expected that it was never intended for players to wield. If players have a save prior to Patch 1.3 and have completed Chippin’ In, they might be able to find Silverhand’s Arm, and even use it for Update 2
