Finally, it is important to use abilities that synergize well with Hillbilly's ability. Teachable perks like Barbeque and Chili play well into Hillbilly's hand and make him a quick and versatile threat for even the most slippery Survivors. Barbeque being one of the best perks for Hillbilly as it allows the Killer to see any enemy in range of the Killer after hooking a Survivor. Clown - Capitalizing on the common fear of clowns, Dead by Daylight perks by Daylight 's Clown specializes in tossing bottles filled with noxious gas that slows survivors tremendously. While this is great in theory for cutting off loops, the Clown can only carry so many and he does have to "reload" his bottles. Given the drawback of running into an object, a smart Hillbilly will quickly strike with the instant kill attack to kill a Survivor.
